Unfinished business - attending AHA 2021 conference
I was lucky enough to attend the 2021 Australian Historical Association (AHA) Conference on the topic of unfinished business. Highlights included:
Welcome to Country from Aunty Maxine Ryan.
HDR writing workshop with Tim Rowse.
Shina Konishi's opening keynote on the unfinished business of Aboriginal history.
Mark Finnane's discussion on the Australian criminal justice history dataverse.
The sports histories session with Jane Hunt, Matthew Coote, Keith Rathbone, and Richard Naughton.
I was able to present some of my PhD research in the digital humanities session, with audience questions posing some excellent challenges in the relationship between prosopographical research and the archive.
