Unfinished business - attending AHA 2021 conference

I was lucky enough to attend the 2021 Australian Historical Association (AHA) Conference on the topic of unfinished business. Highlights included:

• Welcome to Country from Aunty Maxine Ryan.

• HDR writing workshop with Tim Rowse.

• Shina Konishi's opening keynote on the unfinished business of Aboriginal history.

• Mark Finnane's discussion on the Australian criminal justice history dataverse.

• The sports histories session with Jane Hunt, Matthew Coote, Keith Rathbone, and Richard Naughton.

I was able to present some of my PhD research in the digital humanities session, with audience questions posing some excellent challenges in the relationship between prosopographical research and the archive.
